Its peel looks just like a real watermelon and texture like cucumber
It's a cute cucumber inside a watermelon's peel and taste a bit like lemon. Perfect for a refreshing summer and a cool autumn alike!

Scientific name: Melothria scabra 

This miniature watermelon is a kind of annual vines.
It is native to Mexico. Its name comes from its miniature fruits' watermelon-like peel. When eaten raw, it texture is refreshing with a mild sour taste

Optimal temperature for germination: 20~25°C / Optimal temperature for growth: 25~30°C
Contents: Seed, plant container, soil

How to grow the plant
1. Mix the planting soil with water. Dig a 1cm deep hole at the centre (about half the length of a segment of your finger.
2. Put the seeds into the hole and cover them up with a layer of soil.
3. Water it until excessive water comes out from the bottom of the pot.
4. Keep the pot in a well ventilated and well lighted place.
5. The seeds will germinate in 1 - 2 weeks. Immediately move the pot under sufficient sunlight after germination.
6. You may set a rack for the vine to climb and apply fertilizer if needed.
7. When the flowers start to blossom, you may use cotton buds to dip in stamens of pollen and then brush the pollen gently and evenly on the pistil.
8. After successful pollination, the flowers will wither. The petals will swollen to approximately 3-4 cm in length and 1-2 cm in width, the watermelons are ready to harvest.
